A day for the volunteers of Dečko usually starts at 9:30 with preparing courses and events, due to the fact that we offer most of our courses in the afternoon as after school activities. Mornings are usually used as a preparation time. Preparing includes planning, just as creating different materials. An exception to that are Mondays, when the volunteers have Czech language lessons from 9:00 until 10:30. Lunch break starts at 11:30 and ends at 13:30, the volunteers have the opportunity to cook at home or eat in the school canteen. After lunch, the volunteers start with their courses. Every volunteer has a different timetable according to their interests, usually with two to four courses a day. A regular workday is approximately 7 hours, so it ends at 18:30.
